Ned Hart, Im 17 Years old from Dunsborough Western Australia. I am really passionate about everything in the ocean, really. I surf, prefer big waves and slabs though, I free dive a lot, I fish, I hold my skipper license so I'm always out on my tinny catching food if I'm not surfing. I am passionate about ocean sustainability and much prefer to catch my food rather than buy it. I'm into camping and spend a lot of time traveling and winters in Gnaraloo.

WHAT’S THE NEXT CHALLENGE FOR YOU IN THE OUTDOORS?
I want to score Big Waimea & Jaws this trip to Hawaii. I'm trying to plan a big camping trip and slab chasing trip across Australia this year. I've linked with a filmer and we're on. We will be sleeping in swags, catching fish, cooking outdoors and chasing remote waves.
WHAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF IN YOUR DISCIPLINE?
2023 Young Gun of the Year at Big Wave awards would be my best and Runner up Wave of the year to Nathan Florence. I'm a finalist in 3 categories for the Surfing Australia in Heavy water awards, Mick Fanning Junior of the Year award and Best Edit of 2023
My wave at Shipsterns in March. It was my first surf there, after helping with a rescue of a near drowning of a local and I had never surfed it before. I had borrowed a board and had never tow surfed either.
WHAT PIECE OF FLORENCE GEAR DO YOU TEST THE MOST?
Definitely my Impact Suit, I'm surfing with it all the time at home with/without the padding and it's sick.
