HO'OMAU FIRE ACADEMY

At FLORENCE, we believe in equipping people to thrive in the elements—especially those who dedicate their lives to protecting others. That’s why we’re proud to support the Hoʻomau Fire Academy, a Hawaiian nonprofit preparing the next generation of firefighters through rigorous, immersive training on Hawai‘i.

Hoʻomau, meaning to persevere, reflects the academy’s mission: instilling strength, resilience, and cultural responsibility in its recruits. These trainees spend long days in remote terrain, battling heat, wind, rain, and rugged conditions. They need gear that works as hard as they do.
